Hey boss I no some guys get caliper bracket adapters from diy4x.com and with those brackets your able to use brakes from 73-87 4x4 trucks also the brakes from 76-78 el dorado caddys, my 71 c30 is a dually and I just put a disc brake rear end from a 03 Chevy dually, I replaced the brake booster with a hydro boost, my truck came stock with front disc brakes I never changed the proportioning valve.

There is a guy who sells on eBay, kit is complete save gear dope, rear end gasket and axle seals, it is offered in 5 or 6 lug versions for our trucks, and is very nice. I used the six lug kit on my 68 and had absolutely no problems, the rotors were supposed to be standard but came drilled and slotted. For less than 400 bucks this is great setup and I plan on using it again on the 70 as well.

I'm not sure but I believe, a member of this forum sells a template to make the brackets and then use the cadillac set.

I saw a guy at the junkyard today collecting el dorado cadillacs disc brakes systems, What exactly years are compatibles? This guy also told me about TORONADOS also are good donors.
I would like to buy a set for the future.
