Questions about my 85 K20. Pics inside.
For those that dont know about my K20 this is it.
I am going to replace the trim on the side of my truck. I know LMC has all my needs, but they are $$$$$$$$. I dont mind spending money, but if i can find a deal or are quality part else ware for less Ill do it. the trim if faded from the sun as is the paint, but it buff's right out. Also i started a thread on wheels because i want to go 16x10 with 33x12.5. after looking under at the rear. the rim sits pretty close to the drum. The tire says 33x12.5/16.5LT So im assuming the rim is 16.5?? I looked at the factory rim size and it shows to be 16's. So will this be a problem to go 16x10?? I dont want a stupid offset where my rims will stick out!!!! I need to pull a wheel and see what offset I got now cause that would be perfect with a 10 inch wheel. So, moral of the story is..... Where can a get quality trim? will there be a problem with running 16x10 instead of 16.5x10. THANKS |

Looks like lots of room between rim & brake drum,my 15" rims on the 3/4T trucks are a lot closer.Yes your rims will be 16.5,same as the tires.

The side molding....
We have a chain of local auto paint supply stores here called English Color. They sell that molding in bulk, by the foot. I'm sure Houston has a similar store. When you buy from LMC, they're just selling you the exact same thing that they pull off the roll and ship to you. Save much money and buy local.
