X-mas find today
I was out and about to a garage sale today at old farm house. Talked to the owner and he like my old 72 c-20. He remarked that he had one when he was young and asked if he could have a ride in it. I threw him the keys and off he went. Ten minutes later he came back with the biggest smile on his face and thanked me for the ride.
He took me to his barn and said he had something for me. Back in the corner he had a milk crate with some ac/delco parts for my truck he had and never used. The question I have is are the spark plugs, oil filter and plug wires are any good? |

Re: X-mas find today
Theoretically they are still good but personally I would just keep them as cool conversation pieces and reminders of a cool memory.

Re: X-mas find today
Great find on the parts.
As long as their the correct parts for your engine and everything is new they should all be good to go. The plug wire resistance can be checked and if within spec should be OK. Cheers.

I've received some cool old parts & I put them on my shelf for the same reason as dreamryder.

Re: X-mas find today
Very cool story, thanks for posting. As to the parts, sure, as long as they've been protected from the elements, I'd use 'em.
Unless you think they're worth $$$$ as NOS parts.....
