missing small parts

When I bought my '72 C10 LWB it was a basket case, literally. It had been completely disassemble. The major parts were all there and that was OK. The smaller parts (lights, gages, etc) were all missing but I was gonna replace them anyway.

BUT, it's the smallest, most insignificant parts that are killing the project. On the output shaft on the electric wiper motor is an offset arm that moves the wiper arms; I don't have that offset arm. Buying a new motor, arms, etc is OK, but that bloody arm is stopping the build.

If anyone will LOAN me that arm so I can sketch it up, I would be in their debt. Thanks for the forum.

Re: missing small parts

yea theres lots of little things you just cant find aftermarket. which leaves a junkyard or the for sale section of the forum. Its probably worth the $20a year to become a paying member here so you can post want to buy ads. somebody has one of those hanging off the wall in the shop.

Re: missing small parts

Like JointTech said in the earlier post, you would do better looking for parts if you posted in the parts for sale forums. Just a suggestion.
