Rear main seal
I am building a 1977 350 motor and cannot figure out witch way the 2 piece oil seal should go. I was told that if it is in backwards it will leak.
Does anyone have anyone have a photo of which side faces the crankshaft? |

[/QUOTE]If you were referring to my pic you're welcome.....We all start somewhere and don't always have someone to ask.
I've mentored many up and comers in the "wrenching" bizz. Always helped 'em. But not without some form of advice to go along with the fix. Wasn't trying to be a smart arzz. Quote:
