Re: what is your daily driver vehicle

After years of driving Chevy trucks daily, I went to the other side.

I couldn't be happier. I bought it 5 years old. Honda reliability, good mileage, comfortable, and I can load it down with motorcycle frames, wheels and tires, or whatever. Lots of room in the back.

How I idolize you Indian. I've thought about trying to get my hands on a 4.8. What kind of mileage do you get with it?

Re: what is your daily driver vehicle

Miata, because if I'm not driving my truck I want to have fun and save money.
Its been hit a couple of times since I've owned it, instead of laughing it off and making a few bucks id be really mad if my truck got hit. We've started calling it the pinata.

I'm getting around 21 at highway speeds, I have a 700R4 and 3:42's with 28 inch tires. I really think I would have been just as happy with a 4.8 there's only 15-20 hp. difference.

And I can tell you the picture doesn't do it justice... It's nice.

Here's the two I drive daily in the good months. (70 LWB & 69 Burb) I just purchased a different winter daily driver and won't have pictures of it until tomorrow.

Re: what is your daily driver vehicle

Until I retired a few years ago, my DD was my '72 K20. Now it's my wife's 2005 Tacoma 4x4 double cab, with the K20 doing the heavy lifting when needed.

Re: what is your daily driver vehicle

74 Chevy stepper shorty ,6 cylinder ,3 on the tree with 60,000 original miles that I rescued from an over 20 year stay in a farmers barn. I had planned on selling this truck later down the road but Im afraid its become part of the family ,its a dang good truck.
