Re: Wtb power beam headlight

I wish I was more than 50% sure on this, but I *think* '70 trucks still used T3 headlights and went to Power Beams in '71.

Cool, glad you did some info. I did a quick Google search and came up with vague information about the switchover. Where did you check, so I bookmark the page? Have a great day. Jeff

Re: Wtb power beam headlight

Can you post some pics or part numbers? AC Delco?
There's a flea market near me that has a bunch of old delco sealed beams still in the box but I'm not sure what to look for. I'm going back over there next week and I could try to find some.

WETOWN..May not want to wait this long. But April 6th @ the Grizzles ball park in Sauget, IL.I-255 exit #15. Usually some decent deals at the April Fools swap meet there. Last year?? I picked up a tray full of the T3's mixture of GMC/ Chevy headlights for like $8.

I went to the flea market Sat. and they had 8 sealed beams and all were the same number, 4000 or 05964600, not sure which number you go by. Its a small round beam that looks like it goes to a spot light or something. I bought one for $4 and brought it home, opened the sealed package and the front of the bulb is embossed with 'Wagner'. So I guess I wasted $4....oh well.
