I wouldn't do it.
Go to PayPals web site.....see if there's any info there about it. I looked but didn't see anything. [edit] I just went to PayPals site. If you log-in, they want you to read the new "user agreement" and "privacy policy". That's probably what that email is for. If you don't update thatstuff, they assume you are no longer a customer and will limit your access or close your account. I'd just got to their site and do it from there.

I haven't used my account in close to a year, and all I ever get are changes to policies. I would suggest logging on and going to a customer service section or calling the 1(800) number off the website to check it out. Never give a password through internet or e-mail.

I got one similar to that a while ago only it asked for my full SSN, bank routing number full name and CC# and exp date. It too said it was from paypal. That is definatly a scam. Some of those scam e-mail links to to great lenghts to look legit.

I get those type of posts from someone claiming to be AOL, wanting credit card info and passwords.. Don't fall for the scam. If paypal really wants some info, they will send you a letter or a better form of an email with some info only they would have about you and your account.. BEWARE!
