5/7 drop & 20" wheels

I'm thinking of getting some 20's for my 90swb w/a 5/7 drop & will prob do 20x8's up front.

If you're familiar w/this size, what back spacing worked for you? I'm thinking 5.5"bs to keep them tucked & off the fender lip but I'm concerned about rubbing stuff from the inside lip of the wheels.

Any experience?

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Ive got fronts 20/8.5s with 5.2 bs 255/45/20 tyres
rears are 20/10s with 6.2 bs 285/40/20 tyres
They fit fine with just the outer lip tucked

^Same backspacing and width/diameter with 255/40s up front and 295/40s out back.

TTT....

Anyone else. Pics of your truck w/your combo would help visualize things as well.

I'm curious to know what wheels you're referring to. Just about anything I found with a BS greater than 5.25 had to be custom built and would take about 3 months.

Not sure if this was directed to me but I don't generally go for cheap, available, & 'close enough' when selecting wheels. Boss 338's (or other Boss wheel types) are lower cost options that do work but that makes them a VERY common choice on these trucks Too common for me to the point I would stick w/steelies.

So, I'm searching other options. Waiting is ok w/me if the wheels fit, the price is right, & they're not on half the trucks of similar vintage in the parking lot of the local cruise joint on Sat night.

Yeah I hear ya. I'm 95% sure I'm doing a 6 lug conversion and gonna run a stock 20" GM wheel
