tranny swap from sm465 to a nv4500 questions

Ok ihave a early sm465 tranny Iin my truck right now and I am going to pickup a nv4500 to do a tranny swap I have a 1970 454 engine in front of the muncie sm465 right now!! So my questions are do i need a new bellhousing, clutch, flywheel, pressure plate, pto pump? What are interchangeable from sm465 to nv4500 both trannys are chevy trannys!! I just want to get everything to do the. Swap in one day I can't afford my truck to be down longer then 1 day!!

I think the 4500 will bolt to your bellhousing that way your current clutch linkage and stuff should also work as well. I am pretty sure the PTO pump from your truck will bolt up by just removing the plate from the 4500, I think it is standard like they pretty much have always been. Jim

That's what I was hoping and thought if so that will be gr a t then I by thing I will need is tailsshaft ext withparking brake on the back which i doubt is go name be the same from the sm465 to the nv4500
