Need instructions (LFD Pedal adapter)

Converting my 69 to cable throttle. I bought a 72 pedal setup and LFD adapter second hand on the parts board. Opened the package this morning I am missing the instructions for the kit.

Most of it looks self explanatory except the hole for the cable. Can someone who has the adapter scan the instructions so I can determine where to drill the hole in my cab?

Thanks,
Fred

Re: Need instructions (LFD Pedal adapter)

I also would like to use the part of the pedal bracket that houses the TH400 kickdown switch. Has anyone used this bracket in an early cab with the LFD adapter?

My kickdown hasn't been wired since I got the truck and I'd like to use what I have in my possession to fix that while I'm converting. I did a board search but couldn't find any pictures of someone using the 71+ kickdown bracket in an earlier cab.

Re: Need instructions (LFD Pedal adapter)

Fred you have to drill a hole and then using rat tail file or similar make the hole square. The hole is 1/2 " . I am sorry for no instructions, but that was how I got the kit. The thick metal bolts in place of your stock pedal and the second plate goes on the firewall side. If you mount the plate then move the pedal assembly on its pivot until it reaches the firewall I believe that will give you the hole location. Harold

Re: Need instructions (LFD Pedal adapter)

Thanks Harold. I figured I would do either that or line it up with a pencil or punch as a straightedge to make sure the cable was in the right position.

Wanted to look at the instructions to see if there were measurements to verify against.
