305E V6 to V8 Swap

I am having problem after problem with my 305E V6 and am thinking of swapping it out for a 327 or 350. Can anyone help me out with any issues that I may run into? I have another bell housing for the tranny, but what about radiator size, motor mount location, etc?

Thank you for your help!

Not sure how much this will help if yours is a 63-66, but here is a thread showing how I went fiom a 305 to a 350 in my 1960 GMC.

Re: 305E V6 to V8 Swap

JT,

It's in a 65 GMC 1/2 ton p/u, 2wd with a 4 speed. I miss-spoke earlier, the other trans and bell housing is out of an I6, not 350. I am not sure what you mean by a juice clutch. The current clutch is mechanical, no fluid needed.

Mark,

Thank you for the thread post too.

Thanks.
