Hello Everyone!

Hey guys and girls! I just registered on the site after reading countless posts for my 1977 k20. After I got that in working order, I decided that I would rather do body work on something that would look better in the end. I purchased a 1959 Apache 3200 longbed and am currently in the process of tearing it down.

Already have tons of questions, just figured I would say hi first!

Re: Hello Everyone!

Use a host like Photobucket.
Copy the photo URL and
paste it in the result of clicking on the little "mountain postcard" icon on the "New Thread" or "Reply" tool board.

Re: Hello Everyone!

I'm a Mac, I use iPhoto for my pic's that my camera takes, the pic's are around 2.1 mb which are way to large to post on the internet. So I use the e-mail button in iPhoto to make the file about 414 kb. This opens a new e-mail with the picture. Then I just drag the pic to the desk top and quit e-mail.

Now to post a pic here, click GO Advanced, then click Manage Attachments, this brings up a window, then select photo button, which brings up you desktop, click on the photo you want to post, then click Upload pic. Repeat for more photos.

Now if you already have a small file size photo just put it on your desk top and go from there.

What Highsider is referring to is if your photos are stored on the net like 'Photo Bucket' then you would put the URL to the photo on the site.

My photos are kept on my Mac in iPhoto.

I also have tons of pic's I pulled from the web. I keep them in folders all labeled and ready to grab and post. Like this ....

Re: Hello Everyone!

I'm no stranger to forums. Used to code them and host them back in highschool....but haven't been active for a while on them. I'll be using a PC and my iPhone mostly. Guess I'll have to find my old photobucket account or sign up a new one. I'll figure out something!

Re: Hello Everyone!

Here is an easy "manual' method. Type the brackets and characters, just as I did below. Copy and paste the URL in the center.

Re: Hello Everyone!

Settings Set and I just set up an FTP folder on our business website, i will just upload them there when I take them.

I'll also start a build thread, and get everyone up to date on where I'm at.
