how do you adj the shoes on the c/k dana44 with the 2 eccentric's? turn them till each shoe just makes contact with the drum? also i read somewhere about the shoes being placed backwards compared to the rear shoe placement? I have the 4x4 manual, but only covers the transfer case.

IF you PM me your email address, I can send you a couple of pages out of the GMC maintenance manual that may help. It describes the different ways to do it, on the different styles, (duo-servo, non-servo, and Type-F) There are pics too. Just too big to post here.
