lowering 1970 GMC 3/4 ton 2500
Hi all,
I am new to the forum and have a 1970 GMC 3/4 ton truck. First of all would like to know if any of you have done this and are there any kits for this application. Truck has rear leaf springs and 8lug that I'm sure will need to be replaced. Your thought welcome. Thanks, Joe Last edited by joeyfig; 01-13-2014 at 06:14 PM. Reason: spelling |

Re: lowering 1970 GMC 3/4 ton 2500
Nice truck! Im a newbie around here as well, but I too have a 3/4 ton utility truck. Im going to lower my truck as well, right now Im doing a 2003 6.0 engine swap. When I do lower my truck I plan on using this kit http://www.performanceonline.com/196...-8-Lug-Deluxe/ Since I want to convert my front end to discs as well. You can buy that kits with 2.5' drop spindles. I imagine in the back you could go with different leafs or use blocks to lower it. I have springs so I plan on using lowering springs and helper bags when I load it up. Look forward to seeing more progress/pictures of your truck!
