FS - Steelies and tires for sale.

I’m selling my near new steelies and tires as a complete set, they have about 50 miles on them. I thought I wanted steelies but after having them on for a few weeks I just could not get into them on this truck and went back to the American Racing TT.

Wheel Vintiques two each 15 x 6 & 15 x 8 paid $335, powder coated white paid $250, tires BF Goodrich radial TA’s two each 235/70/15 & 275/60/15, mounted & balanced, paid $722, plus SS caps & lug nuts. Total cost about $1,450.

I’ll let them go for $950, no shipping. I’m in the greater LA area.

Wheel specs: 15 x 6, part number 62-5605334, 5 x 5.00 in. bolt circle, 3.75 in. backspace. 15 x 8, part number 62-5805044, 5 x 5.00 in. bolt circle, 4.25 in. backspace.

I think the truck looks pretty sharp with either set on it!

THAT right there was a smoking deal. Impossible to get all that stuff for under a grand if buying it new/outright - and it's the perfect size/combo, etc. Lee, I too think the steelies looked awesome, by the way. But so do your Americans, ya can't go wrong.

Smoking deal for sure, Lee even went down and had a brand new front tire mounted and balanced because of some tire wear, what an awesome guy!

Re: FS - Steelies and tires for sale.

Thanks guys. Jack, nice meeting you! Always a pleasure talking about the hobby. As for the tire, I just could not let those go with the curb rash on that one tire. Cheers, Lee

That was a great deal. Maybe you just needed some different caps and some trim rings... I always thought that the stock caps were a little "busy".

The stock caps invoke the "farm truck" vibe, imo. Heres a GMC i sold a year or so ago.

Re: FS - Steelies and tires for sale.

Funny thing is the guy I sold it to pulled the wheels and tires and mounted a set of 73-87 rallys. That look is kinda played out, imo. I pulled rallys to go with the 67 chevelle caps on the 72. I got them for $40 on feebay. I had the thin stainless rings on the rallys. They didnt look right therebut are good with the poverty caps. I had $50 summit bucks so the wheel vintiques 15x8 were around $275. I sold the rally caps for $125 and the bare wheels for $200. (I think i did ok!)

Btw I am diggin the torq thrust youre running now.

Thanks, they have been on the truck for about 15 years now. My grown children had fit, almost a melt down, when the saw the steelies. I like steelies but they just did not fit the Bombs personality.
