anyone w/ experience adjusting torsion bars for added height?

this is for my 95 suburban 1/2 ton 4x4. I installed 2" blocks on the rear as well as some pretty stout helper springs and I like the stance, but the front could you a 1" lift to make it look more natural. I thought these things had springs but while under the truck tonight I noticed the torsion bars. I cranked each adjusting bolt 1.75 turns and will check heights tomorrow. there was a label on the tosion bar crossmember stating not to adjust the bars too much or the brake line would not be long enough for the wheel travel. any one know of this? I would 'guess' that the 91-99 Tahoe/Burb's/pickups are the same.
thanks
P

The brake lines will be fine. The suspension will get rougher the more you turn though. And if you go over 2" to 2.5" (maximum you can go) you will wear out your CV's quick. So don't go over 2" higher unless you want a nasty ride and high maintenance.
