72 Blazer Rear leaf spring bushing
I heated the spring and knocked out the bushing but It looks like a metal part of the bushing was left inside. How or does that metal part come out to install the new bushings?

Re: 72 Blazer Rear leaf spring bushing
Hi,
I need to replace the bushings on my Blazer as well. Where did you find the bushings and do you have a part number? Thanks, Paul |

Re: 72 Blazer Rear leaf spring bushing
I bought mine at energysuspention.com .I used a air chisel to get mine out.much quicker than manual hammer and chisel.if you got the bushing out that sleeve should have came out with it. you may still have some bushing material left in the center of the spring eye. some people burn em out with a torch.

I got the metal rings out thanks "Angelse68cal" I used the sawsall chisel method and they came out after a few good whacks.
