Re: WTB - Complete set of Blazer / Jimmy seat belts

Here's what I have fronts are decent will probably clean up pretty nice. The backs the females aren't bad but the males have rust on the chrome and all the belt have some level of fading. This is dated as 71 if you are not worried about date I may have some better male belts but would have to look.

Re: WTB - Complete set of Blazer / Jimmy seat belts

Thanks for the picture. I am not worried about date codes, just a nice set of black seat belts.

Please let me know what you come up with. Also, while you are digging if you find a hatch handle in good condition can you let me know.

Thank you.

Re: WTB - Complete set of Blazer / Jimmy seat belts

I will try and send the photos so they make sense this is the small retractable one small mark in the chrome. It was hard to get pictures of the mark. From the pictures it looks like the one side does have some overspray

Re: WTB - Complete set of Blazer / Jimmy seat belts

Long retractable chrome is pitted some and the one corner has a small crack please look at pictures but I think this would be the easiest to replace.

Thank you very much for going to the trouble of digging and putting together the set. It all looks very good so far.

How common is it to find a lock assembly?

Re: WTB - Complete set of Blazer / Jimmy seat belts

I don't really know but I never saw one for sale, I ruined 2 handles trying to get the lock out that is why I am short locks. The locks where corroded into the handle should have just ruined the lock and then I would have still had the handle.

That's my problem except I ruined the handle and lock trying to get the handle off the hatch. I will hold off and hopefully find a handle and lock together.

Re: WTB - Complete set of Blazer / Jimmy seat belts

I have 2 handles that have the locks in them but I can't get them removed and I hate to ruin anymore. I've had them soaking in parts cleaner for weeks but doesn't seem to be working.
