Anyone else tried to order truck rallies from Wheel Vintiques lately?
I ordered two 15x10 truck rallies through Summit Racing in September of last year. Summit deals directly with Wheel Vintiques for these. Wheel Vintiques has continued to delay these wheels on back order since the time I first ordered them. Anyone know of another source I could get these through? Thanks for your time.

Re: Anyone else tried to order truck rallies from Wheel Vintiques lately?
So far it just pertains to the 15x10 5on5 with 5in backspacing truck rallies. These are the only wheels I' m aware of being delayed. You should be good to go on your order. I'm afraid this is going to continue. They were first back ordered until October, then until December, and now it has moved to March. I'm ready to move on with a different source.

I ordered vette/car rallys from summit, I got the 2 15x6 in a couple of days but the 2 15x14 rims took almost 3 months to get.

Re: Anyone else tried to order truck rallies from Wheel Vintiques lately?
Stockton Wheel is another choice for rallys. I am running a set of Wheel Vintiques rallys I bought about 5 months ago. I am disappointed in the paint quality or lack of. I have a ring of rust where the inner/outer part of the wheel comes together due to lack of paint coverage.

Re: Anyone else tried to order truck rallies from Wheel Vintiques lately?
Put some on mine back in September, but had a small war with them over the trim rings. Pleased with them so far. My 15x8's were backordered from Summit so I got those from Jegs. My 15x10's arrived from Summit with no problems. Hope you get what you want. We all want our rides to have the look that we want, not what we have to settle for. GTT

Re: Anyone else tried to order truck rallies from Wheel Vintiques lately?
I ordered a set in August.
In November a set with the wrong bolt pattern showed up. I am informed from Summit that the next shipment is expected March 28. I am not holding my breath. I contacted Wheel Vintiques, and they said (as above) that they use GM centers, which are hard to find. I asked if they would just sent me the hoops and am awaiting their reply. Summit told me that the "Vette" rally's won't be shipping until they check them for trueness as the quality is pretty spotty.

Wheel Vintiques will not sell me hoops.
Anyone know of a source for 15x10 hoops with a 13-1/4" center?

What is their reasoning for this?

They did not give a reason. But I bet it's a big giant "L."

Re: Anyone else tried to order truck rallies from Wheel Vintiques lately?
They must be having real problems. Summit pulled all of Wheel Vintiques wheels off their website. Still have center caps and rings, but no wheels. At all.

Re: Anyone else tried to order truck rallies from Wheel Vintiques lately?
Personally,... I don't thin there is an "affordable" tire available for a 15x10 wheel.
275/60's look stretched to me. Mickey Thompson make a good tire but they are pricey. Are 295/50's even available anymore? If they are,... they look too short to me on these trucks' big wheel openings. Just my opinion,...

We've been informed by the Vendor that there may be some wheels that were shipped out that didn't have the outer wheel welded to the inner wheel. You can tell this by looking at the back side of the wheel were the two meet together. There should be 5 sections of weld that have two to three inch gaps between the welds, if your wheels don't have this please contact us back and we will set up a replacement order." If some of these wheels actually made their way onto vehicles, this could be a financial disaster for Wheel Vintiques. Imagine having one of your wheels come apart, even at low speeds... Re: Anyone else tried to order truck rallies from Wheel Vintiques lately?
And now, just checking on my order status, I see the Series 42 wheels listed as "N/A" on Summit's site. Guess it's time to cancel my order and move on. *Sigh*.

Re: Anyone else tried to order truck rallies from Wheel Vintiques lately?
Something going on with wheels. Did any US steel stamping companies recently close shop or close up and move to offshore sourcing?
I went to buy a set of aftermarket White Wagon Wheels for snows, none available. No expected delivery/restocking date (except for, come see us in the spring). No cragar, no american racing, no keystone, etc, none to be had. Alex. |

Re: Anyone else tried to order truck rallies from Wheel Vintiques lately?
Weird. I kept an eye on Summit's website and they started showing some WV wheels available again in the middle of February. I went ahead and ordered a set of series 37 wheels, 15x8 and 15x10 on Feb 21 and they all showed up in less than a week. Quality looks great, welds are good and they balanced out with little weight.

Re: Anyone else tried to order truck rallies from Wheel Vintiques lately?
I gave up on the Series 42 and ordered a set of Series 37's instead. Not "the look" I wanted, but it's what transpired. They shipped quick, spun reasonably true, and took minimal weight. I picked up Derby Hats off eBay, and I had some beauty rings that fit the 8s as well as the 10s.

Re: Anyone else tried to order truck rallies from Wheel Vintiques lately?
Not to beat a dead horse here but yesterday I took my truck out of the garage . I bought wheel vintiques from Summit about 1 1/2 years ago never see snow or rain ( only rain is a shower coming home from a show) and where the inner and outer wheels meet im getting rusting on at least two of the wheels.. Ive never ordered such garbage in my life.. I would say try to find an old set and have em properly powder coated or painted these new ones are not worth anything
