Steering Wheel Wonky

Hey All,
After replacing my PSCV and Gearbox, I thought I had the wheel straight but its not. Its a cheapie Grant aftermarket and it now sits about 90 degrees from centered. Can I take the SW off and reorient it or do I have to take the gearbox off again?

First of all, check to make sure that your steering box is centered. You want it to turn the same number of turns each way. Then connect the steering column to the box and see where your wheel sets. After that, you can work on moving the Grant aluminum hub to the point that it is right.

Yup its centered. So are you saying that I can remove the steering wheel, reoriented it and Im G2G?

Yes, if the steering box is centered and the steering wheel isn't then take the wheel off and center it. I like to drive the truck straight slowly and adjust it then tighten it down.
I do golfcarts the same way when I lift them.

You surely will have to move the horn button and the ring that it sits into, but that is not that hard.

As well as the signal cancelling cam. It just slides off the shaft and back on where you want it. It's a drag when the signal cancels at the wrong time. Does your horn work? If so pay close attention to how it comes apart so you can install it in reverse it later.
Once you've located the centered position, test it before you go to the final assembly. It makes it easier to take the wheel off again and move it one tooth to the left/right....
