I've seen that on several trucks! Classic 3 speed column to 4 speed conversion. You would think that with all of the effort put into that conversion that they would take the two minutes needed to remove the column shifter! It would drive me nuts!!

I once looked at a truck from CL that was originally a manual and then converted to an automatic, but they changed out the steering column and had a column shift but the original floor shifter and clutch pedal where still there also.
Super crazy. The floor shifter just flopped around and the clutch pedal would snap to the floor when it was depressed

I have the oem column on my '64 and it used to be a power glide, but was converted to a 4 speed....the shifter was removed, but you can still see some of the linkage.
