WTB: sbc exhaust manifolds

WTB: 2 wheel drive ram horn manifolds.

Well, got mine back from bead blasting and one is cracked and I broke the other one last night trying to remove a broken stud...

So, wtb, stock angle back manifolds for 72 without A.I.R. ports. The number on the driver side (left) reads 8932473 not sure what the right side number is...

If anyone has a set or even just one i'd appreciate it. Please post a picture and price or pm me.

Thanks,

Brian

Re: WTB: sbc exhaust manifolds

Vova: Thanks for the response. I saw yours, but, I'm looking for a set without the A.I.R. ports.

tll74: Thanks, I will let you know. I have a couple other leads I'm following up on that are closer. One question, are the studs any good, or will they need replaced?

Thanks,
Brian

Wink Re: WTB: sbc exhaust manifolds

I have a set for $100.00. I just took my 305 out of the truck. I live about 30minutes out of Greenville in Liberty SC between Easley and Clemson. I think I may even have 3 of them.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: WTB: sbc exhaust manifolds

They will have good studs or none with good threads in the manifold. I also acid dip these and media blast them. Thanks, Tom

Re: WTB: sbc exhaust manifolds

JJZeplin: thanks for the fbay lead, I saw them too. Unfortunately they are A.I.R. ported. you can see the extra holes on the top side views. I appreciate your time looking!

tll74 Wow, that's it, thanks for the picture it does look really nice! If I can find local and avoid coast to coast freight I will probably do that. Hope you understand. This was an unexpected expense on top of new harnesses that the PO hacked up... This thing is becoming a money pit...

Andy, we haven't met, wanted to make it to the get together Saturday to meet the neighbors, but, worked on the truck breaking stuff instead. I'd like to get back with you on yours since we are so close. sending pm.

Brian

Re: WTB: sbc exhaust manifolds

72Freak:

Any idea where I can find them? All the ones I've found are either straight down, old 'Vette, or have the castings on the front horn for alternator. I'm going the stock look even though the engine isn't.

1. I did not call the "rams horns" on this thread
2. I said I have "these" for sale
3. Just because you think they are worthless not all people do

All I was doing was offering an option but thanks for your input grumpy old man!

Agreed! These are correct for most SB square bodies.
