Based on the measurements do you recommend longer shocks?
My truck is a '66 cab/bed on a '73 K10 frame. Looking at replacing my old shocks with the yellow Monroe type. According to their part finder the correct shocks are #34824 (rear) and #34944 (front).
The current installed shocks are too old to tell what they were, but the static shock height (bolt-eye to bolt-eye) is 21". The #34824's say they have an extended length of 22.875"; will I be pushing my luck having less than 2" of available extended height? Thanks for any input |
