Anyone interested in this late model engine/trans combo?

I have a good line on a late model (im pretty sure its 01) motor and tranny from a 1 ton dually chevy.. its an injected 454, 100% complete with the 4L60E trans, also complete.. It had about 19K miles on it when it was pulled.. When I say complete I mean complete from serpentine system to alternator and AC pump, complete wiring harness, exhaust downpipes with sensors, computer, the tranny has the driveshaft, etc etc.. I think he even has the original cold air intake setup..

My neighbor who is a very honest guy came across it one day when the guy was parting out the truck and jumped on it. He intended to put it in his 60 something Ford 3/4ton pickup but changed his mind.. Now the setup sits in his garage. He offered it to me and if I had a 2WD truck that I was fixin' up, I would be on it in a second.

If anyone is interested, let me know. Serious inquiries only please Its right next door to me in san diego county. If there is enough interest I will get some pics and more info. We will talk about price later but I bet its far far less than you think! Like I said if I had a vehicle in need of this setup, I would already own it. Unfortunately I already got a 4x4 700r4 sitting on the shelf, and a 454/serpentine on the way.

This is a *****in setup and if you want to make a hell of a driver this is what you need.

if you want to email me, my address is my userid here, "at" yahoo.com (very weary of spammers)

If its from a 454 1ton then its a 4L80e, not the 4l60e. Just a FYI

good call! I didnt even think of that. Im pretty sure he said it was the 4L60, but he might not have said anything, and I just assumed it wasnt. Ill have to look into it.. If it is a 4L80E then its an even sweeter deal....
