I get it, but I resent that "old guys" comment.

Looks good.

I forgot we live in a Politically Correct age - maybe "Generationally challenged" or "Vintage Members" or "For the Mature Viewers" The reason I said that is a 19year old looked at it and said "....kind'a cool..........where did you get the idea..?" If part of your brain is rooted in the 60's and 70's you realize how complicated that answer might be...............

Re: Airbrush on Glove Box Lid

I wanted to make some shirts with that pic and the board logo so I contacted the R.Crum legal dept to see about getting the ok to do this. And after several tries at getting ahold of them through the "if you want to use our stuff email address" with no answers I gave up.

I love that glove box door...looks great. That would look awesome on the side of my panel =)

Generationally Challenged? You might as well as say broken down, decrepid old fart. How about "cool guys who know what good music is and how to have a really good time?"

Actually, your story reminds me of the first time my son rode in my truck. He was probably 17 or 18 and asked where the button was to roll down the window!

That was cool in the 70's when I had it airbrushed on the tailgate of my 74 Dodge pickup and its still cool today.

Re: Airbrush on Glove Box Lid

I questioned the legality of doing this but the image appears to be in the public domain for years. My use of it is not commercial in any way as it is on my personal truck and the truck will not be sold. It will remain in my family. The airbrush work was done by The Visual Edge, Lascassas TN. They have a website Take a look at it - he will entertain a lot of different ideas. . Good people, that do good work. He did a design on my '67 Camaro trunk lid.

Yeah buddy, R.Crum that's where the title for Truckin' magazine came from.

And yes, of course there's the Grateful Dead.

Is 61, old?

Re: Airbrush on Glove Box Lid

And great artwork on the lid.

Glovebox lid that is.

And I guess I've mentioned before there used to be a picture of a beaver on my chrome glove box door?

Shaved door handles, check.

I just looked it up and the Keep on Truckin' comic book he penned came out in 68, so it is definitely era correct for our rides.
