8 lug, ¾ wheels, chrome, NEW take-offs

These were put on my truck for less than a month. They look new and are a very high quality wheel. Absolutely perfect! I will sell them for $200 plus shipping or free pick up in KY.

NO CENTER CAPS INCLUDED

.....obviously, neither do the tires

Question Re: 8 lug, ¾ wheels, chrome, NEW take-offs

Blackhawk,
kinda interested but have some questions for you:

1. What size exactly are the wheels?
2. What width are they, measured INSIDE the beads?
3. What does the little white Warning label stuck to the side of one of the wheels say?

4. Why are these wheels rated so light for larger diameter tires?

Thanks,
72longbed

Re: 8 lug, ¾ wheels, chrome, NEW take-offs

I guess that would help giving the size huh? Sorry about that, they are 16x8. I ran E rated BFG All Terrains on them and they worked perfect. No rubbing and does not stick out from the fender well. I have no idea what that sticker is since they are boxed up ready to ship. They are as the came from the manufacturer.

2000lb rating is not "light" for a ¾ ton truck, matches the rating of E rated tires.

Here is another picture.....

Re: 8 lug, ¾ wheels, chrome, NEW take-offs

Ok,
what I read in the previous Post was a label (pictured) that indicates a 'Caution' for tires over a certain size. Is that correct or not?

So naturally when I have an idea to run the tires I already spent a lot of money on ... possibly on these wheels ... and my tire size is not listed as 'within the sizes acceptable' on that label ... I have concerns.

I run 285/75 R16's. They are 33 inches tall.

I think the "little white label" I see in the picture above says, "For (a certain size tire) ONLY! But it's very small That's why I'm asking about it.

Thanks,
72

Re: 8 lug, ¾ wheels, chrome, NEW take-offs

I see your point and the reason for your question. The tires on the truck as shown are 285/75R16s as well. I took a picture of the label you were asking about. You are right about it being a "Warning" label, but it is to ensure you mount a 16" tire on the 16" wheel.

I am sure it is a disclaimer because obviously some nitwit at some point mounted 16.5 and tried to sue someone when it failed.

Here is a picture of the label. Hope this helps.....-Jeff

Re: 8 lug, ¾ wheels, chrome, NEW take-offs

Thanks Jeff ... that does help. That's the little bugger I saw.

Ok, so you ran 285/75 16's too. Fit good?

I guess I just have to ask ... why are you getting rid of them?

Oh, and do you have any Chrom lug nuts for 9/16 studs, and do you have the center caps for the front or rear?

Thanks.

Re: 8 lug, ¾ wheels, chrome, NEW take-offs

I went to original stock steel wheel with factory Blue Bowtie hubcaps is why I am selling these. They run perfect and required very little weight to balance them.

I do not have the center caps or the lug nuts. I used them on another truck.

Re: 8 lug, ¾ wheels, chrome, NEW take-offs

My truck has 9/16 studs. Will these wheels fit over those studs?
