Pictures of finished (finally!) truck

OK Guys, here it is. After 4 years, I've finally got it done. It was a lot of work, but I really enjoyed it.

Basically stock. Original (rebuilt) 250 I-6 engine with original 3-on-the-tree tranny and .373 rearend. Non-power steering and non-power front disc brakes. Runs and drives great. Rebuilt stock suspension with original rear overload leafs. Wheels are from 1990 SS454. Color is 1968 Mopar Sunfire Yellow. I bought the truck from the original owner in South Carolina. Not much rust, except for rockers and floor pans. I did all the body work and painted it myself. Learned to weld in the process. I painted it disassembled, and then re-assembled everything. I also painted the entire interior, so even though the color is non-stock, everything matches. Had to replace bedside and front fender on right side, due to an old sideswipe and bondo experience. The truck was being used as a twice-a-year trash hauler when I found it sitting in a field. It had been painted (poorly) at least three times, and looked pretty rough. I'll try and put up an interior shot also.

SCORE one for the stock guys. I absolutely love this truck. Great job. I've never seen one restored like this. NO gauges, 6 cyl. three on the tree. I love it!

Looks awsome!! Question, I noticed that you painted the top of your dash yellow as well (reflection in the windshield) Does it bother you when you're driving?

That's a super little truck!!!!!!!!

Bravo for resisting the temptation to change out the 6 cyl 3 spd drivetrain. I'm doing the same with mine, even keeping the no guages dash like you did.
