Re: 2014 chevy reaper???

I just saw a picture and it looks awesome! I'm going to go out on a limb and say they will be way more expensive than a raptor though

It's ugly wish they would go retro like they did with the camaro.

No offense, but I see absolutely nothing about the front of that truck looks like a 67-68. If anything, it looks like the Grizwald Family Truckster and a late model Dodge Charger had a baby. Out of wedlock, of course.

See the resemblance?

Re: 2014 chevy reaper???

Just another bunch of shiny plastic and over done suspension built for the YUPPIE crowd to drive thru their overpriced subdivision ,and it will never see a full day of four wheel drive in it's life , I wonder what it will look like when it's 47 years old ? Reminds me of the mentality of the $100,000.00 bass fishing rig , To drag a $50,000.00 boat to drive at 90 miles an hour across a lake to fish 10 feet from the shore ?

Boy isn't that the truth. My boat won't do 90 but I only paid $1,000 to fish 10 feet from the shore.

They had me at backwards "ER" bro!*
*sarcasm and lots of it.

I can't say anything bad about manufacturers when consumers buy things like tiny hummers (H3) and giant minis (clubman). An "off road" truck with low profile tires is hardly the worst thing that could happen.

Not that I'd ever be a buyer for such, but does it have a manual trans option?

Dodge Cummins is the last IS truck with manual trans...because Mopar automatics suck!

I don't think the Reaper is a yuppie mobile. Young and upcoming people couldn't afford one. I don't see the Raptor in the wider stance of the Reaper,I see the '90s S10 ZR2s and 8-lug 2500/3500s wider stance in the Raptor. It's pretty cool. Not for me,but I'm not their target and the latest thing is never my desire. I liked the prototype 10x more. I'd rather pep up the motor in a new work truck and blow away the showroom razzle dazzle.

Re: 2014 chevy reaper???

Just an FYI, this truck is being produced by Lingenfelter performance, an upfitter, not GM.

All shares have been sold.

I LOVE the new trucks. So much so, that I'm having a really hard time not bringing mine down to see what I can get on trade (probably not much for a 15 year old Z71 with 160K). I haven't been interested in a new GM truck since 2002. I WANT a double cab (what they're calling the ex cabs now) 6.5' box Z71.

This truck... not so much. I really like the idea. I think the grille looks terrible.

Way to step up to the plate GM.... A day late and $10 billion short.

GM quit trying to be like everyone else; think outside the box.

This truck (version) has absolutely nothing to do with GM. It was built by Lingenfelter for SEMA.
