Need wheel and tire fitment help ASAP!

Just finished a 66 for a friend that has 15 x10 inch slotted mags on all four corners. Wheels fit the look of the truck perfectly but he has lowered the rear 3" and will level the front. What size tire can he run to fit the truck please help before he changes this up and kills the look of the truck Thanks. Also if you have pics of a truck with this same combo please post them. I've searched the wheel threads with no luck. The current size is to tall and narrow and the sidewall is super close to the rear fender lip. I'm not above cutting the lip to make a nice looking tire fit.

This is front 235/60/15 rear 275/60/15. I would run 275/60s if all same size.

295 rear....275 front, you might have clearance issues if you go to low with 10 inch rims on the front....most everybody runs eight inch rims on the front.

x2. I'd also abandon the 10" width for a narrower wheel.

Re: Need wheel and tire fitment help ASAP!

The fronts will need to be on a narrower front rim with less offset after you lower the truck. The problem in the rear will be with the axle placement, one needs to move the axle back by 1-2" to center the tire in the fender well to keep it from rubbing on the front of the rear fenderwell. also install a longer track bar to keep the rear axle from moving side to side:

I run 275/70/17 9" wide rear wheels: here is the problem outer wheel well

Inner wheel well:

cheap fix, use a piece of 3" channel 6" long or rectangular heavy wall tubing I think qty 2, use this to space the trailing arms back........Kieth
