Re: Quincy 2 stage

I love mine. I went from a 33 gallon oil-less craftsman to this one. Its way quieter then the craftsman and I never have to wait for it to catch up to my blaster. I went overkill and got the 80 gallon but I think the 60 gallon is a deal that can't be beat honestly.

Re: Quincy 2 stage

Greystoke - If you are talking about the Quincy QT54 w/60 gallon tank, then I can vouch for it. I also replaced a Craftsman 33 gallon oilless with the Quincy and there is absolutely NO comparison. I am probably disparaging the Quincy name by even mentioning that little Craftsman in the same sentence . It's very quiet, always keeps up and is very well built - even the paint job is very nice. I looked for about 6 months before I pulled the trigger, and kicked myself for waiting after I had it hooked up and started using it. There are cheaper compressors out there, but I think the Quincy is a great value. I got mine locally at an Industrial Supply house for right around $1500.

Re: Quincy 2 stage

I also have the 60 gallon Quincy and it does great for me.Looked at some of the others and decided to pay a little more and get a lot better comp. The I/R didn't have the best reviews on those and the oilless are junk.Spend the money on the Quincy and you won't be disappointed.
