Use a bent paperclip or something similar in the small hole to release the switch from the housing.

Insert said paper clip into the hole as you turn the key to the acc position. (counter clockwise) With a little wiggling and pulling, it should pop right out into your hand.

I know I know we have been through this before to no answer. The 68's dont turn CCW for the accessory position. What has anybody figured out on these?
Thanks
Dave

On 68's you put a paper clip in as instructed and turn counter clockwise about a quarter of an inch with the key installed and this will release the tumbler(there is no acc. position). You are physically moving the whole tumbler a quarter inch to get it past the tab which holds it in place. Works like a charm. Did it just the other day on a '68 ignition. If it won't budge try some penetrating oil around the edge of the tumbler, as some corrosion may have seized the tumbler in place. Good luck, Mark
