cleaning foggy taillights?

instead of buying a new set of lenses, how can i clean up my foggy lights?

I've heard that jeweler's rouge works good for this but I'm not sure where to get it. Also, try this product from Eastwood Company (Flitz Plastic Cleaner 3.5 oz - Item No. - 13260). Maybe somebody has used it and can comment.

Any type of plastic treatment usually will, but they will become foggy once the stuff wears off. There really isn"t anything you can do but buy new ones.

I found that mothers aluminum polish works really good for this

When i fabricated my custom bowtie tail lights the lenses came off of a corsica out of the junk yard and were very nasty looking and mothers cleaned it up real good.
