69 chevy body swap

I've got an idea in my head and I'm curious if it will work. I'd like to put my 1969 c-10 on a 73 or newer 4 wheel drive frame and drive train. Anyone ever tried this?

I hear it will if you use a body lift to makeup for the different frame shapes.

rebelracer79 is right. Ive done it on a Blazer frame but had to make tall mounts and a body lift to compensate for the drop down section in the frame.
- 73-87 the floor of the cab bumps up under the seat to make room for the fuel tank. Keep that in mind if you were going to ditch the in cab tank.
It can be done though.
Good Luck.
