5 window conversion
Has anyone seen a 47-54 5 window modified to make a one piece rear window wrap around window... like a big back window from the 55-59???
Obviously it would require custom glass but I've been thinking of doing this to the next project. |

Re: 5 window conversion
I'd check into the ability to build the window and price of it before going too far with that project! I've seen a 3 window with a larger window in the back, but that's just flat glass so it would only be a matter of building the opening as big as you want it.

Re: 5 window conversion
That would look neat, would look into the glass before cutting anything though

Re: 5 window conversion
I know there are companies that can replicate glass from an aluminum panel.

Re: 5 window conversion
If you make a buck and send it to AM hot rod glass they can make you the rear window out of acrylic. You can’t tell the differences between real and the acrylic it is a great product. Go for it. O... the price for the rear window should be around $600. Not bad for an awesome look.

Re: 5 window conversion
Here are a couple crude drafts of what this would look like.

Re: 5 window conversion
This needs to be done. I might consider it. But that is a lot more work to my already over worked truck.
