Frame swap
Hey guys just I have an opportunity to get ahold of a shortbox 2x4 frame that's in much better shape then 4x4 shortbox frame. I'm just wondering what would e involved in swapping a front leaf setup to a shock/springform setup.
Thanks all |

Re: Frame swap
I believe there's a lot of difference between the 2 and 4wd frames. I would wait and find a 4wd frame

Re: Frame swap
4X4 Frame is 25% thicker gauge, the rear of the two different frames are quite a bit different. 4X4 is mostly straight and the 2wd curves in the back for the 2wd suspension. Not saying its not possible. but if you want all your current parts to swap over and for the additional strength of frame I would keep looking for a 4X4 frame.
