Door panel idea!

If anyone else is interested, I just finished up one door panel using 3M DINOC Carbon Fiber matte black vinyl I purchased off Ebay. Turned out really nice. Just takes a heat gun and patience.

Ebay link: >> http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_saca...ck+vinyl&rt=nc <<. 15+ pages of hits available here--includes other brands as well, tho'. I agree that it does look nice!

Re: Door panel idea!

Looks great, if I tried it there would be bubbles everywhere and I would finally end up throwing the door panel across the room. I envy those who have the patience and skill to make things look that nice. Kieth

Re: Door panel idea!

Wrap vinyl is not to bad with bubbles and if you get a few they will go away on there own in a couple of days. Here is a link to a company that has a lot of this type of material in some pretty wild finishes from chrome to snake skin.

Re: Door panel idea!

Not just for door panels. This stuff will stick to anything and can be removed with a heat gun. I used it on my wheels instead of paint or powder coating. Same material used for vehicle wrap, available in 1000's of patterns or for the custom touch can be printed with whatever you can come up with.

Re: Door panel idea!

You can search Ebay by 3M Di-Noc or DINOC Carbon fiber matte. Lots of people sell it. Just be easy with the heat gun. I'm going to stop at the door panels. More might be overkill.
