Got kicked out of the bar...

Note the gas sending unit comment, might want to check to see if it comes with a 90ohm gauge if you are running a newer tank sending unit.

Re: Task force gauges

I think I saw this gauge set on Rods n Wheels on Discovery channel the other night. They were restoring a 56 for some chick.

Re: Task force gauges

Interesting looking gauge set. On the price It may compare pretty close to a decent set of round gauges and a dash insert for a custom dash price wise. I've been pricing gauge sets for my 48 with a 5 inch speedometer and four smaller gauges and the total gets up there.

77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.

Re: Task force gauges

I looked at these before buying the New Vintage gauge cluster. Prices are around the same. I could find any new vintage reviews but took a chance and they have that vintage look but work and look great. I just got them in so I will update down the road. Also running the gps module on the speedo so let's see how this plays out in the future

Re: Task force gauges

i could have used that 140mph speedo during power tour 2012

i have to ask why though, new speedo is $99 individual gauges are less, chances are most of yours work as is

check out my instrument cluster rebuild in my build thread
i converted the amp gauge to a volt gauge for $15

Re: Task force gauges

Looked it up.
www.newvintageusa.com

"Fuel is available in original 0-30, 0-90 or 240-33."

I read most of the site and see no reference to GPS module for the speedo.

I like that New Vintage unit a lot better than the Classic Instruments one.

Nicer layout, a 120 mph speedo and gauges with better graduations.

Also, I don't know about New Vintage but from what I've read about Classic Instruments, they aren't that reliable.
