Re: Her she is

Yes I am going paint the backing behind the headlights and the fender wells, that was the doings of the guy that had it for 8 month until I got sick of it and went and got it back. Then had another guy redo the cab and buff the whole truck. I have all new out parts for the truck, handles, wheel well trim,etc....

Re: Her she is

What's going on between the bed and cab? Is that just the old white two tone that did not get painted or a shadow or what? With a color change surely the bed was removed. If not, well that explains it and the red core support etc etc.

Re: Her she is

Well I will tell you what that is. The guy did remove the bed and painted behind the cab. As I said, he had a PITBULL dog that evidently chased a cat or something all over the truck... Get where I'm going with this. Well he had to do some repainting and re clearing . He evidently painted over some of that buffing compound. I have been scrubbing it with 000 untrained steel wool with rubbing compound . It's working, it's getting it off and I'm not going past the clear from the first paint job. But where it's at, it's hard to get to and my hand started cramping... Here is another picture after what I have done today

Re: Her she is

3 in spindles in front, 4 inch Shackle/Hanger in rear. Tires are 275/60/15 on American racing 5 spoke. I'm gonna put the grill back in today now that I got all the red over spray covered

Still gotta put my one piece windows back in and door handles and mirrors

Re: Her she is

Had the holes (mirrors, emblems, cargo) all welded in. There is little of no filler on this truck. Was one spot of rust at the bottom of the windshield under the rubber. That has been fixed. I did find today where evidently, the battery had leaked and rusted through the fender well and the battery tray... Guess those are next in line.... Can't have any rust.... Can't wait to see what the one piece windows are going to look like with the sport mirrors
