Carrier bearing ?
I had to replace my starter, and while I was under the truck I rolled over and noticed a piece of rubber hanging from my carrier bearing I grabbed the drive shaft and shook it and sure enough the carrier is shot I've not really dealt with the 2 piece before is it hard to change I haven't even had time to mess with it but I'd like to know what I'm in for.btw I was in a gas station parking lot or it would already be fixed

I replaced mine over the summer. Really straight forward and fairly simple to replace. Ended up doing all new U-joints as well

I just did mine and it's simple. Like rock mentioned it's a good time to replace the u joints as well.
