Vintage Air Plate

I did not like th black plastic firewall plate VA sent with my kit. I did not want to use the nice looking bulkhead they make because it forces you to use all rubber hoses under the dash because the solid tubes AC tubes have male fittings which will obviouly not mate up with the male bulkhead fittings. I wanted to use solid tubing under the dash. So, I went to a local company that builds drag cars and dragsters and had them cut me out a round piece of aluminum and drill the 4 holes. I did all the polishing on the peice. I had my locaal tube and hose peson put two male ends on the heater tubes. Now I can purchase all braided stainless steel lines through Justin at Scotts Hot Rods which will scre onto the solid tube heater and AC lines sticking through the firewall. After I put the rubber grommets around the tubes and into the polished aluminum plate it will look great and I will also have something nobody else has.
