Fuel Tank Sock, or Filter
Does anyone know where you can get a replacement for the burb tanks? I think mine might need changing. Also, the fuel sending unit gasket. thanks

I'd try Chevy Garage. You may have to buy the whole sending unit, but hey, it needed changing anyway, didn't it?

I just see no reason in replacing the sck. I personally rip them all off. You shouldn't need to drop the tank to replace a filter.
That sock can also agravate vapor lock. |

I checked with Chevy and all the part stores and you cant get a sock anymore. I got one from a Jeep Dealer. They make 4 different sizes. A 3/8 and 5/16 intake and a long and short for both. I used the 3/8 short. It was $9. Good luck
