Spring identification help please
Can anyone confirm what springs these are on this frame? I'm considering buying this as a package deal but want to make sure it has the springs I want. It has the CPP drop axle kit on it and I'm hoping they are the Posies springs and not the monoleaf that CPP sells. The frame is a 1955 TF 3200 and I will be transfering these parts onto my 1959 3100 shortbed.
Please take a look and help if you can. Thanks. |

Re: Spring identification help please
Well the clips on the springs say that there are more than one leaf on the springs but other than that all I can tell is that they are black. Not trying to be a wise guy but they look just like most other springs with fresh black paint on them and I for one can't tell the difference.

Re: Spring identification help please
Well after looking a bit closer I notice that the bushing eye is on the inside of the spring arch where the Posies bushing eyes are to the outside of the spring arch so unfortunately I don't think they are the springs I'm after, which is unfortunate because it would be a hell of a deal if so.
Any other observations other than "they are black" |
