1963 SWB Fleetside bed bolt length needed
Need the length of the bed mounting bolts for a 63 short fleetside truck. Im a stepside guy and i know the fleetsides are different. Picking up the new 63 Saturday and need to get the bed bolted back down to transport. Just need the length and size....thanks in advance.

I'm pretty sure they are probably 7/16 or 3/8 diameter. Ive looked through the FAQ's with no luck. Found a ton on the 67-72 board, but I know some of those beds were steel also.

This isn't going to help much but these are what they look like. These were from my 63 longbed. If no one answers I will pull one off tomorrow and measure.

I just need to pick up something to get it home (2hr drive). Won't be permanent, just a couple of carriage bolts I can pick up from home depot for the transport. I'll get the proper hardware when I get around to restoring it.

A couple of 4 inch will work. Or you can get a couple of 5 inch to make sure
