68 c10 e-brake questions

Does anyone sell the original style e-brakes for a 68? Or is there a way to convert it over to the 69+ style with the foot pedal.

Re: 68 c10 e-brake questions

I've got the handle and assembly from my 68 that I'm not using. Got the cables too, but we cut through them.... Not sure of anyone that sells them. Did you check the usuals: LMC, Brothers, GMCPaul?

Check the parts board. Someone should have one for a '68 for sale. To change it over you would have to modify the fuse block location and put a small rectangular hole in the firewall for the cable to go through. Another way would be to cut that section out of a later firewall and weld it in your '68.
