Whats the easiest way to mount a Camaro trans x member in the clip/truck frame? I did mine luxblue style(using 5.3l and 4l60e), is there a trick to locate new holes for the x member and make sure they end up in the correct place drilling through both the sub frame and truck frame?

Also does anyone have any pics of a 4 speed high hump transmission cover in there truck? I think it may give me the clearance I need with a lot less modification over the flat original cover

One of the guys is sure to have a trans cover to take a photo of but I am not sure that will be the fix you need. I'm thinking the hump was only raised around the shift tower and not the whole length of it.

On the trans mount holes, everyone seems to do their trucks slightly different so it may be measure and drill on that as what worked for someone else may not work for you. Meaning if you walk around a show with a lot of Taskforce trucks with the hood open you see almost as many engine placement positions as you see trucks outside of the trucks still running the stock front mounts.
