Stock wheel info

Does anyone know the back spacing on a stock wheel for a 1968 1/2 ton GMC? What was the width? Also will the stock wheels work with disc breaks?

Re: Stock wheel info

Your stock 68 6 lug wheels will not work with disk brakes. You need stock 6 lug wheels from a 71-up 4wd truck.

Do you know the width on those wheels?

Re: Stock wheel info

I believe 5.5" or 6" is the standard width, 8" are harder to find.
