Highlander on ebay (not mine)

on ebay, not mine. It's a "non-package" highlander, nice little truck! Has the highlander plaid (on the SPID) and PA1 caps. Lots of previous discussion about these - i.e. whether or not a non-package truck with highlander plaid seat option was actually a "highlander." I believe the consensus was that if it has "highlander plaid" then it's a highlander. Just not a package truck, per se. Anyhoo, here ya go:

Re: Highlander on ebay (not mine)

Its really simple, either you have a Custom Deluxe (Z62) with the Highlander Plaid Trim option (codes 613, 611, 604 or 618) or you have a Highlander promo package truck (YG6, YG7 or YG8) that include the Highlander Plaid Trim with the package, it will have the same trim codes (613, 611, 604 or 618).
Either way its a Highlander.
The trim codes are different for Suburbans and Blazer though.

JMO but I really can't stand the wheelcovers that came with those Highlanders.

Can't agree more. :-)
Luckily they only came standard on C10 Promo Package Highlanders. But as I have said before they were not exclusive and could be ordered (at a premium) on most any 15" wheel C10 in 72 as this truck was.

K10-20 and C20-30 had chrome hub caps included as part of the promo package.
