Almost cried yesterday!!!

I was on my way home from school yesterday when I stopped to make a left turn. The only problem is that the old man behind me didn't. He swerved and managed to only ruin the rear passenger side of my original 72 Cheyenne. Good news: he was insured. At the very least I am going to need a new bumper and bed side. It only got the cab a little bit. The worst thing of all is that he was driving a rice rocket. Oh yeah, it also messed up my chrome exhaust tip. Now it's time to start visiting body shops!

I had a lady in a older buick back into my original 72 cheyenne. Her insurance Co. wanted to total it for low bucks. I got my own estimates and fought with insurance and in the end got my estimate paid and truck not totaled. It took a lot of wrangling. I got estimate from body shop to go ahead and repaint whole truck for an extra $1k, went back 2 weeks later and estimator quit and shop would not honor deal. I took cash and used it for something else. Fixed heater core and am still driving it with damage. I still wish I had my truck back the way it was before the hit.

Before we got married my wife backed into my truck. She just hopped in her little plastic Toyota Celica and slammed it in reverse. Before I could even get out the words "there's a truck behind you" she had slammed into it. I got out expecting to see her little plastic bumper setting in her trunk, but instead I had a huge dent in my bumper and she had a cracked taillight. I guess she hit it just right, but now we've traded in her car and my truck is still dented, it looks like I can't drive.

I GOT REAR ENDED BY A DAMNED SEMI. BECAUSE OF THE DAMNED TICKET THE COP GAVE ME THE ACCIDENT WAS LABELED AS MY FAULT AND MY TRUCK WAS TOTALLED. I ONLY HAD LIABILITY TO BOOT! I HAVE SINCE FOUND A REPLACEMENT BUT IT ISN'T MY OLD TRUCK YA KNOW. I'LL NEVER FIND AN OLD SHORTBED 4X4 LIKE THAT 72. AT LEAST NOT ONE I CAN AFFORD.

I was rearended once in my truck, luckily it only barely bent the bumper. You can barely see it, but it is a little higher at one side then the other. The cool thing is, i got $400 out of the the deal from insurance! I spent the money, and the bent bumper is still on my truck. But, i was in my parent's '01 S10, and i happened to back into a Chevy Lumnia in a parking lot. So my insurance rates wouldn't skyrocket, i paid the $287 out of pocket :S. So in the end, i only really got $113 out of being rearended, lol.

I got rearended in my 69 GMC 3/4 ton. I got out and the only damage was a very thin line of blue paint on my rusted old bumper that I was going to replace anyway. Her front air damn was lying on the ground in pieces. The funny part was she tried to get me to pay saying I backed into her. My insurance agent called me laughing his ass off and told me not to worry about it. I should have sued her for "damage" to my truck.
