Chevy Truck-boat

this is pretty unbelivable i just saw on the news a picture of a 51chevy truck that was made into a boat/raft by a bunch of cubans the coast guard got them off the florida keys/ timed them at 8mph and damn that truck looked near mint so if anybody's down by the keys there's a nice chevy floating around out there

Not to bust anyone's bubble, but I thought I heard on the news that the Coast Guard took the old girl out to sea and sunk it..

Not sure if this is correct or not.

Here is a pic of the cubans and their "truck boat"

My understanding is that Cuba's only cars are old 1950's vintage vehicles, alot of which are chevrolets.

Can you say ROAD TRIP?

I wonder if these guys got this idea from watching junkyard wars on tv?

Bad choice of color for tarp....... should have gone with a blue one. Might not have been so easily spotted form the air!
